Below are answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about AdSense payments.

Frequently asked questions about payments

Expand all  Collapse all When am I paid?

The AdSense payment cycle is monthly. As long as you've completed the steps to get paid, we'll issue a payment between the 21st and the 26th of the month. During this time, you'll see a line item appear on your "Transactions" page indicating that your payment is in progress. Learn more about payment timelines.

For EFT please allow 4-10 days to receive the funds in your bank account once the payment process has begun. Wire transfers can take up to 15 days to arrive in your bank account. You can also visit our EFT troubleshooter and Wire transfer troubleshooter for further guidance.

Can I get paid early?

No, we aren't able to issue payments outside of our normal payment schedule for any reason.

Is there an alternate form of payment available?

If a form of payment is not shown in your "Add payment method" page, then it's not available in your country. We'll let you know if a new form of payment becomes available for your country.

My "Transactions" page is missing several payments. How can I view my full transaction history?

The default view of your "Transactions" page shows the last three months of transactions in your account. To see your full transaction history, select All time in the date range selector.

My EFT payment was sent to a closed bank account, what do I do?

If your form of payment is EFT and your payment was issued to a recently closed bank account, then the payment will be automatically returned in a few days and your earnings will be credited back to your account. If you have a new bank account verified in your account, then your returned payment will be re-issued in a few days. You can expect the entire process to take about a week.

When will I get a tracking number for my local courier check delivery?

We do not offer tracking numbers for check deliveries.

My check was sent to an old address. How can I get a new check?

What is the sender address for Western Union payments?

Do I need to verify my bank account with a test deposit if I want to receive payments by wire transfer?

Can I receive payments by wire transfer if my bank is located in a different country than the address in my payments settings?

No. Your bank (or branch) must be located in the same country as the address in your payments settings. If it's not located in the same country, your SWIFT code won't be accepted when entering your new form of payment details.

Can I change my payment currency?

Unfortunately, it's not possible to change your payment currency.

Can I donate my AdSense revenue to charity?

Right now, we don't offer the option to donate your AdSense earnings directly to a charity from within your account. However, once you receive your AdSense payments you're free to use your earnings as you wish.

As a friendly reminder, if you do choose to donate your earnings, we ask that you avoid placing text on your sites saying that all or some of the ad earnings will go to charity. Because this language can draw undue attention to the ads, and since we can't verify how the earnings are ultimately used, these statements are not permitted by the AdSense Program policies.

Where do I send my invoice?

You only need to send us an invoice if you're a publisher registered for VAT purposes in Ireland. In this case, you should send your invoice by email to AdSenseVAT@google.com. Please don't send us a hard copy invoice.

Does Google AdSense provide official payment documents?

Yes, we provide a Payment Receipt for each of your payments. You can show Payment Receipts to your bank or tax administration as proof of payment from AdSense. To view a Payment Receipt, click Payments and then View transactions, then click the automatic payment link on your "Transactions" page.

If you need to show your contract with AdSense, you can print the AdSense Terms and Conditions. When you signed up for AdSense, you accepted the Terms and Conditions and this serves as the legal basis for the interactions between you (your business) and AdSense.

Note that we're unable to provide any printed, signed or stamped documents.
